Visiting the site

Email

Email sent to hello@pocketfidelity.com is forwarded by Cloudflare Email Routing to my Gmail account (Google). I use your email only to reply and to act on what you’ve sent, such as a correction or tip, and I delete it when it’s no longer needed. If you send a tip, tell me if you’d rather not be named, and I won’t name you.

Newsletter

The newsletter isn’t running yet. When it starts, it will use an email service that stores your address so the newsletter can be sent, with an unsubscribe link in every email. This page will be updated with the details before then.

Stories link to brands, shops, forums and other outlets. Their own privacy policies apply once you’re on their sites.

Where data is held

Cloudflare and Google (Gmail) may process and store data outside Australia, including in the United States.

The site’s search runs in your browser. What you type isn’t sent to me or anyone else.

Children

The site isn’t aimed at children under 13.

Your rights

You can ask what information I hold about you (in practice, usually only emails you’ve sent me), and ask me to correct or delete it. Email hello@pocketfidelity.com. If you’re not happy with my answer, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, or to the data protection authority where you live.

I don’t sell personal information or share it with anyone other than the services named on this page, and I don’t build advertising profiles.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page will change too.
